Dembele: Enrique praises and criticizes me; we must fight for three points against Man City

Before the Champions League match between PSG and Man City, Dembele was interviewed by TNT Sports Mexico, discussing the importance of the match, the trust placed in him by Luis Enrique, and the performances of Lamine Yamal and Michaël Olise.

Next is Ousmane Dembele. Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with TNT Sports Mexico. My first question, Ousmane: does a Champions League match against Man City feel like a final to you?

No, it doesn't feel like a final. As I said before, this is only the second match of the group stage. However, it is still an important game, and we must do everything to get three points. We know that Man City is also a strong team with excellent players and a very good coach. So we will be ready for tomorrow's match.

Luis Enrique said a few days ago that buying a ticket to watch you play was an easy decision, and he praised your excellent performance. What does such support from the head coach mean to you?

Sometimes he praises me, and sometimes he criticizes me. However, it's still nice to hear such compliments. He is our coach, and we all know his personality. As always, I will try to repay all the trust he has placed in me with my performance on the field. His praise truly makes me happy.

One last question: are Lamine Yamal and Olise currently the young players most similar to you in terms of playing style?

They are both amazing players with excellent abilities. Every weekend, or every three days, we see them showcase their skills on the field. As for whether they are similar to me, I can't say for sure. But they are indeed very capable players—they can dribble past opponents, score goals, and provide assists. We love watching players like that play.
