Despite Barca's interest, Inter won't let De Vrij leave unless they find new CB

According to the latest report from "Mundo Deportivo", Inter Milan will only allow de Vrij to leave if they sign a new defender, and it remains to be seen whether Barcelona will take action on him.

It is reported that in recent days, another player linked with Barcelona is De Vrij, whose contract will expire in June, and the club has no intention of renewing it. He has had limited playing time, and his status in the national team has also declined with only six months remaining until the World Cup.

Within Inter Milan, De Vrij is ranked behind Bisseck, Akanji, and Bastoni, who are Zivojinović's starting choices, while in rotation, Acerbi and Carlos Augusto are given higher priority than De Vrij.

However, Inter hopes to sign another center-back before letting go of De Vrij. The club plans to make signings in the January transfer window, targeting two Serie A defenders: Mario Gila and the young Tarik Muharemovic.

Regarding Mario Hilario, Real Madrid still retains 50% of his rights during the transfer. He is a key player at Lazio, and at 25 years old, he has already become one of the best center-backs in Serie A. It seems that Lazio will not easily let him leave midway through the season.

As for Bosnia and Herzegovina international Muharemovic, although Juventus retains a portion of his rights and there is competition in his transfer, Inter seems to be in a favorable position.

If a new defender joins, De Vrij's departure is almost a certainty, and it remains to be seen whether Barcelona will ultimately take action to sign him.
