The worst fears of Atletico Madrid fans have come true after Diego Costa limped off against Juventus in Stockholm in their International Champions Cup fixture on Saturday.
Scans have shown that an injury to his left thigh will keep him out for 10 to 15 days.
Costa has suspended for the first game of the LaLiga season against Getafe anyway but would have been available for the visit to Leganes on matchday two.
