Gianluigi Donnarumma endured a difficult night at the Santiago Bernabéu as Manchester City suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The Italian goalkeeper conceded three goals from Fede Valverde and quickly became the target of strong criticism across Europe. Several media outlets pointed to his responsibility on key moments of the match, reviving memories of past mistakes at the famous Madrid stadium.
The English and Spanish press were particularly harsh in their assessments. The Manchester Evening News noted that “he could arguably have done better on at least one of the goals,” while Spanish newspaper Marca questioned his repeated struggles in Madrid, asking: “What is it about the Bernabéu that makes Donnarumma look so insignificant?”
Although the goalkeeper managed to save a penalty from Vinicius Junior, many observers believe his overall performance fell short of expectations, leaving the Italian under intense scrutiny ahead of the return leg.

Donouramma is the main reason why City hasn't been embarrassed numerous times these season, City have been horrible throughout the only consistent person has been their goalie if there's someone to blame for that game it should haves been Doku dude was over dribbling through out the game.
You are very right that keeper have save them in so many games they should have out of top 4

Let's be honest here, all three goals by Valvede were top notch skills that very few strikers would pull off the goalkeeper did his best but couldn't match the skill set from Federico

This guy has arguably increased the performance of City since he came. I saw the match and the only goal you can possibly blame him was the first goal which he was very cautious of his line to avoid getting red which could have been more disastrous for City. Why the English media haven’t mentioned about Guehi that was dribbled past in one of the goals. Dona didn’t have a good night and so with the entire team and the coach who started with a weaker team.

Undereating players performance after a lose can be judge by the coach tactical formation. Silva is the heart of City mid field. and new recruit Semenyo did excellently well. I suggest was because of tactical build up City was beaten.
Yitbceipt

Why blame the city goalkeeper? Why can’t you blame the coach you use a formation that no high profile coach could use against team like Madrid.. Using semenyo, Silva and Rodri was like leaving the entire mildfield pressure on Rodri, because pep started two players who their pressing rate is very low. Semenyo and silva. The team broke down from the mildfield because semenyo and Silva was playing number 10 role.. Yesterday we noticed that pep plays three players in the NO 9 position haaland, semenyo and Silva. Pep needs to go if we can’t qualified over Madrid because he was the one who spoiled the formation. Look at the time pep brought in Reijnders, we saw that the mildfield hot composed and later nouri the game changed absolutely.. At times choaches make mistakes in selecting players for a tough match..

with that first goal, Don't think that Danaruma was stupid like people think! if he was by bad lack to challenge and fail reach the ball, it would be a straight red card and a penalty which would give a very open advantage to Madrid and remember the game was still 0-0 and still in the first half. you would better give anyway a goal and fight back

you can’t blame Donnarumma for the loss you expected a win in Madrid with that leacky midfield and flowery performance from our wing players(Doku&Salvihno)with their unnecessary dribbles plus the troubled Nico O’Reilly on left back…our manager(Pep Guardiola)is to blame for his fruitless tactics eg:-the 1st eleven was woeful and the substitution was poor
