According to Il Corriere della Sera, Gianluigi Donnarumma left the meeting with Milan ultras in tears before the Benevento clash yesterday.
The paper confirms Milan ultras met with the goalkeeper before the game against the Streghe and demanded he sits out the Juventus match if he doesn’t sign a new contract.
Donnarumma’s agreement with the Rossoneri expires this coming June, and according to reports in Italy Juventus are in talks to secure his services as he can leave Milan as a free agent in the summer.
The trouble is, the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri are both in the race for a top-four finish and their Allianz Stadium meeting next week is crucial for both side's hopes.
The situation seems increasingly tense between Donnarumma and Milan fans who pushed to meet him yesterday.
According to Il Corriere della Sera, Donnarumma told Milan ultras he hasn’t decided anything yet and insisted he will be the one deciding his own future.
The paper suggests the Italy international felt forced to accept the meeting by the club and wasn’t willing to have that pressure, especially one week before the Juventus clash.
Donnarumma reportedly left the meeting in tears and started in the Rossoneri’s 2-0 win over Benevento last night.

kid always will be kid 😒 I know some fans from different places going to attack Milan Ultras but before they do that let clear things up. first Milan give this kid his debut when he's only 16 years old which not many clubs do that 🤔 in 2017 they making the highest paid player on his age by offer him 6m which even strikers like Ronaldo and Messi doesn't get when they was on his age 🙁 also Milan making him the captain of the team and offer him new contract worth 8m which will make him the highest goalkeeper in Italy and 3th in the world 🤑. the point line here guys he brought this for himself because Milan are doing better than last year and trying to build something here and they want him to be the center of it but if he doesn't want to keep going with us then he should make his mind and get his a## and leave 👍
