Antonio Cassano has laid into Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, claiming he 's***s himself' when under pressure and doesn't deserve a pay rise.
The Argentina international is contracted to Juventus until 2022 but has yet to agree terms on an extension, leading to suggestions he will depart the Turin club this year.
According to reports, 27-year-old Dybala has demanded £9million per season to commit to Juventus for the long-term.
And that has certainly not met with the approval of former Italy international Cassano.
'All his coaches at Juventus did not consider him necessary, so I wonder if he is a champion or a great player,' Cassano said on the Twitch channel of former Italy star Christian Vieri.
'For me, his is not a champion, he does not make the difference. He has [scored] good goals, like I saw [Antonio] Di Natale and [Lorenzo] Insigne do.
'But if you want to take Juventus' No 10 [shirt], you have to be at a higher level.
'I have the feeling that, when they put pressure on him, he s***s himself.
'And then he asks for €10m per season? Oh, please!'
Dybala has been at Juventus since 2015 and has scored 98 times in 242 matches during that time, winning five Serie A titles and three Italian Cups.
But he has struggled for Andrea Pirlo's side this season, scoring only three times in 14 appearances, though a substantial chunk of his game time has come off the bench and he has struggled with fitness issues.
Dybala scored in the 4-1 win over Udinese at the weekend and could be involved when Juventus travel to the Serie A leaders AC Milan on Wednesday night.
Juventus are 10 points adrift of their rivals and sit fifth in the table.
'We need Dybala, he needs us,' Pirlo said after the Udinese game. 'He worked very well during the week in training, we could tell during the match that he in better physical condition and we kept him on to the end because we hoped he would score that goal.'

Dybala has good pairing with Ronaldo... but sometimes he play selfishly.. And his small injuries costing his consistency.. After arrival of Ronaldo everyone wants to score goals they dont want to play beautiful football.. Ronaldo is there to finish every chances he gets... But Dybala needs to play confidently... I know he was the main player before Ronaldo's arrival.. But you know that player like Ronaldo and Messi always in the limelight ready to stole the show until they r playing.. He needs to adjust his things quite right... Things will be fine... Feel selflessly and play free football.. And Pirlo needs to give him full chances... The duo everyone wants. Dybaldo.. Vamos.. Play well you'll get your demand.
