Raphinha will remain at Barcelona. According to ESPN Brazil, the Brazilian forward's contract extension is very close to completion and will extend his current deal by two years.
ESPN Brazil understands that only Raphinha's signature and the club's official announcement remain pending. The new contract will extend his term from mid-2028 to mid-2030.
The renewal had not been completed earlier only because Barcelona lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League during the week. Barcelona is currently deciding whether to announce the news before or after El Clásico.
This extension also represents recognition for the 29-year-old Raphinha, who will turn 30 in December. In recent years, he has maintained excellent form and has become a team captain.
