According to Goal.com, Barcelona defender Eric Garcia said that teammate Ferran Torres' goal in the FIFA World Cup final was no accident, and both of them had put in a lot of psychological preparation to reach the pinnacle of football.
The 25-year-old Eric Garcia is one of 8 FIFA World Cup winners in the Barcelona squad.
The Barcelona defender is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation and, as a guest on Cadena Cope radio, spoke about his experience of winning the FIFA World Cup with the national team and expressed his ambitions for Barcelona next season.
Garcia admitted that he was moved by the immense love players received during the celebrations, and he specifically praised his teammate Ferran Torres for his goal in the final.
When asked about the mental health expert he and Torres worked with, Garcia did not hesitate to emphasize that both of them had put in psychological effort to reach the top and win the FIFA World Cup.
Garcia said: "For better or worse, Ferran and I can be put in this category, because we are used to everything. Our job is to play football, and I think that's a privilege. I always say that things can get better or worse, but you have to always be there and stay in the right state. In the end, he scored the goal that brought us the FIFA World Cup in such a situation, which was no accident."
Garcia also explained how he felt participating in his first FIFA World Cup, and that experience happened to be in the final: "I was ready for the whole month, waiting for the opportunity to come at any time, and finally it came in the final. We seized the opportunity, and that's everyone's goal. Whenever it's our turn to play, we are always ready to contribute. I always told the coach that I could do anything he needed."
The Barcelona player admitted that the team started to feel they had a chance to win the FIFA World Cup at one point: "That was after Enzo was sent off, when they replaced Julián and brought in another defender."
After adding the FIFA World Cup trophy to his honors cabinet, Garcia knows that his next career goal is to win the Champions League with Barcelona.
The Barcelona star said about this topic: "Yes, yes. Obviously, I have nothing to complain about regarding the honors I have had so far. Every player wants to win and win championships, and that's why we are here."
Eric Garcia also confirmed that he will return to Barcelona training on August 12.

you want but you can't win champions league because of your coach Flick. he doesn't know how to build a solid and sharp defense. He has a good attacking tactic but he is bad in defensive tactic. Please, try to postpone your dream.
