Former Barcelona and Chelsea star Pedro has confirmed he will leave Lazio, but the veteran forward insists he is not ready to retire and plans to continue his career elsewhere.
The 38-year-old has confirmed that the 2025-26 season will be his last with Lazio having joined the Italian club from rivals Roma back in 2021.
Pedro has been a key player for them ever since, scoring 34 goals and providing 15 assists in his 185 appearances across all competitions.
“This is definitely my last year at Lazio. I want to leave this team where it deserves to be, in Europe. We can still grow and aim for the top of the table,” he said.
Reflecting on the future, Pedro acknowledged that retirement is edging closer: “How many more years will I play? It's hard for me to say, I'm always training, but every day that passes brings me closer to retirement,” he said.
