Ex-Sevilla keeper Palop discharged from hospital as he recovers from coronavirus

Former Valencia and Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop has been discharged from hospital as he recovers from coronavirus.

After 12 days in hospital suffering with COVID-19, the 46-year-old has tested negative and is now back at home.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people that looked after me, my family and I'm sending lots of support to those that are going through this situation," Palop said.

"Stay positive and don't weaken. It'll be okay."
