Fede Valverde's partner Mina Bonino shared a public message of congratulations for the midfielder after he and his Real Madrid teammates were crowned Spanish champions on Thursday.
The Uruguayan was a standout player for Los Blancos before COVID-19 hit and, although he didn't play as significant a role after the restart, he had a big hand in their success.
"We were locked up for three months without being able to move," journalist Bonino wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her partner.
"With a baby, you trained as you could in the apartment, doing sit-ups on the carpet and with your mother-in-law trapped under the same roof - which isn't a small thing hahaha!
"I know all of the effort [you put in], I know how much these matches take.
"That's why you deserve it.
"Because you're a good person and, above all, humble.
"I'm so proud that you're the father to my son.
"You're 21 years old and this is your third title with Real Madrid.
"Good things happen to good people."
"Sé lo que costaron estos últimos partidos, y por eso lo mereces. Porque sos buena persona y ante todo, humilde. Que orgullo tengo que seas el papá de mi hijo. 21 años y tu tercer título con el Real Madrid. A la gente buena, le pasan cosas buenas", ha concluido la periodista argentina, muy activa siempre en las redes sociales.
