Fekir guides Lyon to victory ahead of hosting Barcelona

A sensational Nabil Fekir strike helped Lyon to a hard-fought victory over Guingamp just days before hosting Barcelona at the Groupama Stadium.

Martin Terrier put Lyon ahead after 15 minutes but the visitors pulled the game level just six minutes later through Felix Eboa Eboa.

Most expected a comfortable evening for Lyon against Ligue 1's bottom-placed side but it proved far more difficult than anticipated.

Eventually, a wonder goal from captain and talisman Fekir proved the difference between the sides which strengthens Lyon's grip of third position.
