The Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is currently undergoing renovation work to make it the one of the top stadia in Europe, with Real Madrid spending more than 600 million euros on the project.
The club expect to host events 300 days of the year at their stadium once it's completed, including concerts, business conferences, e-sports tournaments and even basketball and tennis matches.
The secret to having such a multifunctional stadium is the Bernabeu's retractable pitch, which can be withdrawn after matches to enable the club to hold any number of events not related to football.
Another feature is a roof which can be completely closed over, giving visitors the chance of a panoramic view of the city from the top of its most iconic stadium.
The new Bernabeu also boasts state of the art technology which can project images onto the entire outside surface of the stadium, as well as a 360-degree scoreboard inside the stadium.
Another secret which Real Madrid have kept under wraps is the addition of an extra tier inside the stadium, which will provide an extra 4,000 seats.
A shopping centre will be attached to the stadium, with a Real Madrid museum, multinational shops and various Michelin star restaurants, and the Plaza Sagrados Corazones has been pedestrianised, providing a green space for fans to meet before the match.
The new Bernabeu is going to set to be the benchmark for all modern stadia moving forward.
