Florentino believes that Solari needs to go and could turn to Raul

Santiago Solari will not be Real Madrid's coach next season. Florentino Perez, the man who controls everything at Madrid, has decided that the team needs a new man leading the project. Not even winning the Champions League for an incredible fourth consecutive time would be enough to see Solari's time at the club extended.

Perez has already begun the process of finding a new head coach. The list is long and contains some familiar faces such as Pochettino, Low and Allegri. However those three are all under contract and that presents a huge problem when it comes to finding a solution. However that won't stop Perez from testing the waters just as he did for all three last summer.

However, unlike in the summer, Perez will be prepared should none of those be willing or able to join him at the Santiago Bernabeu. There's a Plan B and that is none other than Raul Gonzalez Blanco. The legendary striker, who recently was handed the role of coach for the Juvenil B side, would have significant star power to earn the fans trust despite his lack of coaching experience.

Florentino took advantage of Alvaro Benito's criticism to hand the job to Raul. The reports from parents and players from Raul's time in the dugout have been extremely positive. He won 4-1 in his debut match for Juvenil B against Leganes and has eased the tension following the removal of the popular Benito. Real Madrid will hope he can become their Pep Guardiola in the dugout too.

Some believe he should coach Real Madrid Castilla before being handed the top job. However the only opinion which matters is that of Perez. He will decide if Raul is ready or not and the fact he's even on the shortlist suggests he might have to be.
