Florentino Pérez confirms José Mourinho will be the next Real Madrid head coach if he wins the elections
Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, has announced that José Mourinho will take over as the club’s new head coach should he win re-election.
In an official video released by Pérez’s election campaign team, Mourinho appears wearing a Real Madrid jersey and confirms firmly that he will become the club’s new manager if Pérez is re-elected as president.
Earlier reports from David Ornstein and Real Madrid correspondent Kieran Colthart of The Athletic stated Mourinho has penned a three-year deal with Real Madrid, set to be officially unveiled following the club’s presidential election.
