Football Manager available for free this week to help coronavirus woes

To save yourself from coronavirus boredom, popular computer game Football Manager has come to the rescue after making itself available for free this week.

You can gain free access to FM2020 between now and 3pm on March 25 by logging into your Steam account and clicking on the download button.

Once this exclusive deal ends next Wednesday, you will have to purchase the full game in order to continue playing.

The number of Football Manager players has soared following the cancellation of football fixtures across the world due to the coronavirus outbreak.

FM2020 director Miles Jacobson revealed that nearly 90,000 people were playing the Football Manager at the same time on Sunday night - a new record in the history of the popular simulation game.

It's not just football fans who love a cheeky game of FM - some players enjoy taking control of themselves in real life and creating their own football narrative off the pitch.

Barcelona and France striker Antoine Griezmann is a long-time fan of the addictive game and uploaded a photo of his new-look Arsenal team which included the likes of Jadon Sancho, Frenkie de Jong and, Joao Felix.
