Amad scores as Côte d'Ivoire become 8th African team to score in World Cup knockout stage

At 16:00 (GMT+7) on July 1, during the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match between Côte d'Ivoire and Norway, Amad Diallo Traore scored a brilliant goal in the 74th minute, temporarily helping Côte d'Ivoire equalize at 1-1.

According to Stats Foot, after Amad Diallo Traore scored Côte d'Ivoire's first-ever FIFA World Cup knockout stage goal, Côte d'Ivoire became the eighth African team to score in a FIFA World Cup knockout stage, following Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, and Algeria.
