Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has told Bukayo Saka to stop making such a meal of fouls.
Saka is one of the most fouled players in the Premier League and the subject of his treatment by defenders has become a big talking point.
The winger has so far managed to avoid serious injury but Arsenal fans were left holding their breath once again during Saturday's win over Bournemouth.
Saka was on the receiving end of a crunching challenge from Ryan Christie, who appeared to go over the ball.
Christie escaped unpunished while Saka quickly waved to the bench to signal that he needed some treatment.
'When I saw the tackle, straight away I was like 'that's a red card!',' Seaman said on the Seaman Says podcast.
'He went over the top of the ball but then caught him on his knee and then dragged it down his shin.
'It weren't even a yellow card. I know the VAR can't give him a yellow card, they can only deal in reds.'
'He needs to pack in that waving all the time as well because that's normally used as a signal to the physio bench when you are in trouble,' Seaman added.
'It's not just Saka, I've seen a lot of other players doing it as well now. That was always the signal that you're really hurt so that they can get ready really quickly to get on as soon as the ref signals to them.
'But players are doing it now, they're doing that signal and then they're getting up and they're not even receiving treatment. They will try all sorts trust me, they're rule benders!'

As a club legend, I don't think David Seaman's views on Saka would be accepted well by the majority of the Arsenal faithfuls, especially at this time of the season. Yes, he (Seaman) might have one or two points here about Saka, but the timing of such a comment is as appalling as it can get. It's time to gather important morale among Arsenal players and the whole camp towards the finishing line and not divide and create unnecessary anxiety. Me. Seaman should have chosen a better time to air his opinion! By the way, it's only his option!

With all due respect to Seaman, does he understand what it means to be a winger on the receiving end of tackles from defenders? Some fouls look minor but can have a massive effect on how the player feels in terms of pain.
