Alvaro Morata has been hailed as a good addition for Atletico Madrid by former striker Kiko, although he did raise concerns about his mentality.
The Rojiblancos finally completed his signing on an 18-month loan deal from Chelsea this week.
While Kiko is concerned about the striker's ability to cope with things when they get tough, he is largely positive about the acquisition.
"He has what Cholo [Simeone] wants from his strikers for Atletico's game, with good positional play and ability with his back to goal," Kiko told Cadena SER.
"With Juventus, he also demonstrated that he can play in space and is mobile.
"He is hungry and eager to impress and irritate opposition defences and along with Rodrigo, is one of the better signings of recent years.
"I do only see a small hole with him and that is that in the face of adversity, he transmits weakness.
"At 26 years old, in the face of adversity, he has to work, work and work and we should hear him complain a little less."
Kiko is also unworried about the reception the new man will receive from fans as a result of his Real Madrid past and believes things will go smoothly.
"You shouldn't let yourself be carried away by the photos and gestures of Morata from before," he added.
"One he puts on the Atletico jersey, he will spend all of his energy playing for it.
"There is nothing to be said for those who put obstacles in the way of people and almost want things to go wrong."

He said he wore 29 because that's when his kids were born. I mean if the number isn't occupied already maybe he should get it.

But he cant go free either. If Atletico wont pay as much as Chelsea wants them to pay, he will come back to Chelsea.

I totally agree with kiko and that's the very l reason he didn't make it at chelsea. But all the same he'll bounce back, remember that the English media is very hard to cope with.
