I highly doubt anything like this even happened. Yamal is great but so were others. He is definitely going to win the Ballon d'Or one day for sure but at the moment he isn't THE BEST. Where from this argument of splitting of votes? You guys are confused cos there is mot criteria for the balon dor . Each each there is different criteria. If you award based on individual performances why can’t the board sit and analyse the individual performances of the players and arrive at a conclusion than ask people to vote based on their teams and who they want and it the performance of the players.the awards has lost credibility .
