Galatasaray striker Andone: If you go behind, Madrid will end up beating you

Galatasaray will face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, and striker Florin Andone has made clear that the Turkish giants must do their all to avoid going behind in order to come away from Madrid with at least a point.

Although the Romanian admits that it will be a very difficult test, he is confident that if Galatasaray's players stick to their game plan, they will achieve a good result.

"We come to one of the most beautiful and difficult stadiums in the world, against one of the toughest teams in the world," Andone said in Galatasaray's pre-match press conference.

"We're clear about [how difficult it will be], but we have to be positive.

"If you go behind, Real Madrid will end up beating you.

"If we trust our work, we can get a good result."

Los Blancos drew 0-0 at home to Real Betis, despite testing Joel Robles on multiple occasions, and Andone was keen to emphasise Real Madrid's quality.

"You have to be respectful of Real Madrid," he noted.

"Real Madrid is Madrid, one of the best teams in the world.

"They're always a fearsome opponent, [who you need to be] wary of and respect.

"They have very good forwards, [they are] world class.

"If they're here, it's because they have a lot of quality and have earned it."
