Galatasaray striker: Real Madrid will beat us if we go out for a draw

Galatasaray take to the Santiago Bernabéu turf on Wednesday evening, a stadium that their star striker has described as "one of the toughest in the world".

Galatasaray striker Florin Andone spoke to the press ahead of his club's clash with Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday. And the on-loan Brighton & Hove Albion player was certain that a positive approach was required from the Turkish side.

Andone and respect for Madrid

Asked whether Zinedine Zidane's side have some problems in their own striking department, Andone still believes they possess a real threat.

"You have to respect them," began the 26-year old, "whether they have Cristiano or not - although they have lost goals - they are a formidable opponent and have very good strikers."

With Los Blancos having a less than convincing start to this season, and failing to find the net at home to Real Betis last time out, it was suggested to Andone that this was a good time to play them.

"It is difficult to answer," he replied. "I respect Madrid, one of the best teams in the world.

"No matter who is there, they never stop being Real Madrid. We play in their stadium and have to treat it liek it was our very last."

"It is one of the toughest stadiums in the world. You have to be positive. You can't go out with the idea that you can only draw, because they'll end up beating you.

"We can get a good result."
