After Barcelona’s 3–4 extra-time loss to Inter Milan in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday morning, Gavi took to social media to share his thoughts on the match.

“This really hurts, especially knowing how close we were to success. Barça fans, they didn’t want us in the final because our performances this season made them scared.”
“No matter how many years it’s been since we last won the Champions League, I know how hard it is. Every year I dream of winning it, but I truly believe that as long as we stay united like we always do, victory will come. I know that day will arrive.”
“Even though we’re emotional right now, we can still finish this season with three trophies. At the beginning of the season, no one expected us to win even one. Despite the ups and downs, this has been an incredible season. Let’s pack out the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Sunday and win that match!”
