According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter hope to have more key players back for Sunday's match against Como.
Following Pavard's return, Stones and Curtis Jones have also partially resumed training with the group. If nothing unforeseen happens, both will be included in the squad list for the match at San Siro. They will start on the bench, as they are not yet fit enough to play a full match, but their return gives Cristian Chivu more rotation options. After a day off today, they will train fully with their teammates from tomorrow.
Stones has been sidelined since September 14, when he strained his left hamstring against Udinese, and has played only 144 minutes in the league and the Champions League so far. Curtis Jones suffered an adductor problem in his right leg in training on October 8, and has accumulated 152 minutes in four Serie A appearances plus the match against Real Madrid. Both hope to reach their best form after the international break, so that this summer's Premier League signings can finally start paying off consistently.
Lautaro is also expected to return around the same time. He is currently dealing with a muscle problem in his left leg, which is Inter's most worrying injury. The aim is for him to be available for the away match against Atalanta on November 22.
Meanwhile, Thuram's attacking influence and leadership are growing, while Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny are competing for playing time. The victory in Rotterdam also restored Pio Esposito's confidence, as he scored again after 50 days. Luis Henrique is still training individually, but his recovery is ahead of Lautaro's. With a few more days, he could have been included in the squad for the match against Como.
