I must say as a matter of fact that the officiating at the ongoing AFCON has been shameful as it has been scandalous in particular going by the Tunisia vs Mali and Egypt vs Guinea Bissau games. There's no way you tell me Guinea Bissau were not robbed. Is it because CAF don't want to see Egypt parading the reigning African footballer of the year, Mo Salah, get eliminated early in the tournament? We always complain about officiating decisions at global tournaments whenever we feel Africa is treated unfairly. Even in the European leagues that we watch we always complain of bad officiating. Is Africa different? No, Africa is worse off and it's disappointing. I pray we don't see this kind of officiating again.
