Real Madrid are also now top scorers in LaLiga history, overtaking Barcelona's 6,151 to reach 6,152 thanks to Vinicius Junior and Mariano Diaz's strikes.

Vinicius breaks Messi's record!

Vinicius Jr scored the opening goal in El Clasico and in doing so stole a bit of modern history from a vaunted opponent. 

The winger became the youngest person to score a goal in Spain's most famous fixture in the 21st century, replacing Messi, who bagged a hat-trick in 2007.

Ronaldo spotted celebrating Vinicius goal 

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted celebrating Vinicius Jr's opening goal during Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Barcelona on Sunday night.

Vinicius put Madrid in front on 71 minutes and then copied Ronaldo's famous celebration as the Portuguese clapped in appreciation from his seat.

Isco had his 300th game with Real Madrid. He reaches this figure in his seventh season as a Madrid player and so far he has won 211 matches, 15 titles and scored 51 goals.

200 apps milestone for Vazquez!

The youth team graduate, who is playing his fifth season as a first-team player, has won 137 games, 11 titles and scored 24 goals.
