Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Harry Kane this summer
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp expects Harry Kane to remain in North London next season.
One of the biggest transfer sagas could be set to unfold as the Spurs talisman is yet to publicly decide his future. An underwhelming 2022-23 campaign resulted in Tottenham failing to qualify for Europe - leading some to suggest Kane’s time could be up.
Just one year on his contract means Daniel Levy is under pressure to resolve the England captain’s future. At 29, there will be few opportunities in the future to cash in on Kane and he could even lose his star asset for nothing next year.
Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly expressing interest as they aim to bolster their attack. Erik ten Hag was forced to sign Wout Weghorst on loan as a stop-gap signing but is now primed and ready to buy a long-term option.
Madrid, on the other hand, have just lost Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad and are exploring several alternatives. Kane appears a natural fit for Los Blancos but ex-manager Redknapp, in charge of Spurs when the 29-year-old was an academy player, believes there will only be one outcome.
“I think he’s a cert to stay,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. “That’s my opinion. I don’t see him going. Man City are not there anymore, they have Haaland. Where is he going to go that is better than Tottenham? It’s not easy. He’s not going to go to Arsenal, he’s not going to go to Chelsea.
“Manchester United, is obviously a great club, but so are Tottenham. What a stadium - maybe the best football stadium in the world. Great training facilities… I think he’s sure to stay and he’ll be looking for them to bring a few players in. If they do that, they could be bang in there next year.”

I understand football loyalty and all that but Harry kane will go down as the most useless player in football history. if real Madrid wants you, you jump on it and if I see the progress at united I will jump on to that

The teams which guarantee Kane some trophies are not ready to pay £100m for a 30yr old player. Both Bayern and Madrid could chase Mbappe and Vhlahovic or other exciting young prospects who could give them 5 and more seasons..... Hazard stained Madrid's interest in old players unless he makes the switch for £50m United can shell out a £100m but its not a winning project. United and Spurs are more or less the same judging a few years back till now . You can't ba guaranteed silverware with United at the moment, Kane time is not on your side. Arsenal can't guarantee you trophies either....
Utd and Spurs aren't the same. Utd problem is Glazers but they have ambitious and winning manager who make the club do what they want. They managed to play 2 finals, won one and are promising for next season while spurs are nowhere. Even Newcastle and Brighton are above Spurs now

So Harry thinks Harry has to stay because of the beautiful facilities. Does a player dream about facilities or trophies?

Old age and senility has affected Harry Redknapp. Saying where is Kane going to go that is better than Tottenham. When last did Tottenham win anything. He is measuring stadium with performance. This is the mentality of coaches hired by. Tottenham no wonder they have nothing. The good coaches get out of there fast : Mourinho, Conte, as examples.
