Atletico Madrid are expected to have a busy summer transfer window in terms of both incomings and departures, and Monday saw the club linked with a double swoop for Porto pair Hector Herrera and Alex Telles.
Both players have been integral parts of Porto's run to the Champions League quarter-final, but their time in Portugal looks set to end.
Herrera has long been championed for a move abroad, including by none other than former Juventus director, Luciano Moggi, however the summer of 2019 will see his contract with the Portuguese champions expire.
In a report published by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Atletico Madrid are about to sign the pair for a combined fee of 30 million euros, with the Brazilian full-back costing the full amount of that.
Telles is likely to replace Filipe Luis, whilst also adding defensive numbers following the departures of Lucas Hernandez and Diego Godin.
