Henry: Spain was the better team today, their systematic football brings success

I've lost to them in finals time and time again. They always seem to be there. They have a clear football identity and philosophy. Every team, regardless of age group, plays the same brand of football."

He continued: "This is why De la Fuente can succeed—he coached the Spanish youth teams for many years before this. He knows this system inside and out, and the players know how to execute it. You can see this Spanish team has many stars, but most importantly, they function as a true team. France didn't perform today; we were never in the game. But the main reason is this: when Spain has the ball, they don't easily give it back. You have to aggressively win it back, and that requires sustained, high-intensity pressing. We simply couldn't regain possession from them. France managed only one shot on target—Dembélé's late in the game. That's the difference."
