Hertha Berlin are reportedly interested in signing Luka Jovic from Real Madrid.
The striker, who had such a successive season in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, hasn't quite hit the same heights since moving to Spain.
Hertha, with the backing of major investor Lars Windhorst, are looking to mount a challenge to the Bundesliga's traditional top two of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
To do this, they are looking to significantly strengthen their playing squad and, according to reports in Germany, Jovic is one of those they could bring in.
The Serbian international scored 27 goals for Frankfurt during the 2018/19 campaign and has a good reputation in Germany.
However, he's struggled to adapt to life at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and has rarely featured under Zinedine Zidane this season.
Real Madrid will listen to offers for the forward and many of their other players this summer.

real Madrid will want to give jovic a second chance to prove his worth. there have been a lot of players who didn't perform so well when they first joined los blancos, like the great cristiano ronaldo and some others but with their second season they became unstoppable. jovic has a great potential and Madrid will want to reap returns on their money spent like they always do
