Gabri Veiga will leave Celta Vigo for Al-Ahli in a deal worth TWENTY TIMES his current salary.
The 21 year-old has chosen to join Al-Ahli ahead of offers from across Europe - including from Napoli.
Al-Ahli have agreed to meet Veiga's €35m buyout clause after Napoli had an offer of €30m turned down by Celta.
On terms worth €500,000-a-year at Celta, Veiga had agreed a contract with Napoli worth €2.5m-a-year.
However with Al-Ahli, Veiga will move to Saudi Arabia on a three-year contract worth €40m in total.
Celta coach Rafa Benitez admitted this morning: "It is a situation that changes his life and his family for good."

Money is good but not from the start of the careers. He is a very good player and his time has just began.
