Ilkay Gundogan 'celebrating' his move to Barcelona

İlkay Gündoğan is enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Ibiza after winning the treble with Manchester City, and as can be seen in the photograph, he is in great company. In the snapshot are three players from the Premier League side, Gündogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Aké, on a boat sailing around the Spanish island, and smiling, which is not surprising after the great season they have had.

The midfielder is enjoying one of his best moments and it shows on his face. A fortnight ago he was lifting the Champions League as City's captain, and in a few days, or even hours, his signing for FC Barcelona could be made official.

The German will join the Catalan giants for free after not renewing his contract with Manchester City and will sign for three seasons. His wish, and that of Xavi Hernández, has come true.
