Independiente confirm club’s interest in signing Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia

Independiente boss Lucas Pusineri has confirmed his club’s interest in signing Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia.

Biglia will leave Milan at the end of the season, and Pusineri admits he is actively trying to bring the veteran to Independiente.

“I’ve already sent Biglia a message,” he told Radio Confidencial.

“In the next few days, we’ll have the chance [to chat]. I respect and admire him.

“We’ll see what his ideas are. I’ll put mine across to see if we can reach an agreement.

“If we can do that, great.”

The 34-year-old already played for the Argentine side between 2005 and 2006, making 38 appearances.
