Isco is the latest player to join the injury list at Real Madrid after the club confirmed he suffered a hamstring injury.

In what is becoming a concern for Zinedine Zidane, this is a growing trend within the squad with nine players now having been on the treatment table this season.

The first to go was Brahim Diaz, who picked up a thigh problem for Los Blancos' pre-season training camp in Montreal.

A muscular problem also struck Ferland Mendy during the tour, while Luka Jovic hurt his knee in a clash with Jan Oblak in the friendly with Atletico Madrid in New Jersey.

The worst moment came when Marco Asensio ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during a game against Arsenal in Washington DC.

After the squad returned to Madrid, Thibaut Courtois became the latest to go down with an injury when he sprained his ankle - although his recovery was quicker than expected.

Then it was Rodrygo Goes, who picked up a thigh injury, before Eden Hazard was denied his competitive Real Madrid debut by a thigh injury of his own.

Eder Militao has been on the medical report as well and Former Colombia national team doctor Hector Fabio Cruz has lamented James Rodriguez for his lack of professionalism.

Isco has made it ten injuries in 50 days.

After the tests carried out today on our player Isco Alarcon by the Real Madrid Medical Services he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the bps femoris. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
