Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is flattered by the alleged interest from Spanish champions Barcelona. "Of course that is an appreciation, absolutely, that's an honor for me," said the Austrian after the arrival of Bayern in Kansas City. However, he hasn't talked with Barca yet.
Instead, he wants to fully concentrate on the missions of the German record champion. "I've entirely focused here in the US and I'm in preparation with Bayern, I want to focus on what's necessary, we have many things to do," he said.
Alaba's contract in Munich lasts until 2021. Basically, It's imaginable that he can move to another league. The Austrian said: "But I am not those kinds of players who look far ahead ."
At the end of the US tour, FC Bayern will play against AC Milan on Tuesday evening in Kansas City. Then they'll return to Munich. "This is a very intense week and we are looking forward to flying home tomorrow," said Alaba.
