Jaume Masferrer hired as head of the office of the presidency at Barcelona

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has created a new administrative section, the office of the presidency, which will be led by Jaume Masferrer.

This new section will be involved with communication, protocol and institutional relationships.

Masferrer had previously worked as an external advisor to Bartomeu, while he was also the campaign manager for him in the 2015 elections, which saw Joan Laporta, Agusti Benedito and Toni Freixa defeated at the polls.

The official announcement of Masferrer's hiring could be made next week.
