Sevilla begin a new chapter away at Espanyol on Sunday after the dismissal of Pablo Machin and the appointment of Joaquin Caparros as his replacement.
Machin's sacking came after Sevilla were dumped out of the Europa League in stunning fashion by Slavia Prague in the round of 16.
This match will be Caparros' 500th as a coach in Spain's top tier as he looks to repair the broken team that he was left by his predecessor.
The 63-year-old returns for his third stint at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, having most recently taken charge at the end of last season on a caretaker basis.
In the 11 fixtures that remain in LaLiga Santander, the ambitious target remains qualifying for the Champions League.
The other objective is to improve the performances of the team away from home, with the Andalusian side having not won on the road in the league since September.
Espanyol, meanwhile, are looking to continue a good run of form that has seen them remain unbeaten in their last six outings.
The Catalan club will not want that impressive run of results to end before they face city rivals Barcelona after the international break.
Borja Iglesias and Sergi Darder will be available to Rubi for Sunday's game after both players missed last weekend's draw with Athletic Club due to suspension.
However, due to the injuries to David Lopez and Oscar Duarte, Los Periquitos only have Mario Hermoso and Naldo as options in the centre of defence, though B team captain Lluis Lopez could feature once again.
Sergio Garcia will miss the game through illness while Victor Sanchez is suspended.

Nothing, good luck to Caparrós in the remaining matches. I still think the same. I would not have liked to see Caparrós on the Sevilla bench (in other cases yes) because it would be a very bad sign. But hey, although we do not have a placard as he says and some delusional believes it, the 4th place is very cheap (that's why 7 or 8 teams can take it) A great rival like Valencia, will be distracted with the cup and the E.L. and apart from Betis, (I do not trust a Betis hair, because they also have a good squad) to others, I think we will beat them, we say, If with the 4th budget, we are below Geta, Alaves and some more, is that Pepe, Caparrós and some more, are some papafritas. Anyway, I'm optimistic, and by the way, I think that with Caparrós we have improved something. The other football, we go that if we win and there is little, it does not happen to us as it has happened so many times this year. Greetings.

In the photos: Caparrós was a player of Madrid (not the first team) .... since you put a picture of a team other than Sevilla .... put one of Madrid.

I do not trust anything from Sevilla and least from Caparrós, but we have to win the game anyway!
