Luka Jovic's return to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan has not been quite as fruitful as Real Madrid would have liked, but the Serbian striker is simply glad to be playing football on a regular basis again.
The 23-year-old made the switch to the Bundesliga side in the January transfer window as he went in search of game time, and in 12 appearances he has scored three goals and provided one assist.
Jovic has made clear that he will return to Real Madrid in the summer, but he also left the door open for a potential departure.
"Everyone knows that I'm officially a Real Madrid player, I'll be back there at the end of the season," Jovic told Bild.
"It's logical that I can't talk about my career for a few months."
He has a contract at Real Madrid until 2025, but it is likely that Los Blancos will attempt to find a new suitor for him, ideally on a permanent basis.
Part of the problem is the 63 million euro fee that Real Madrid paid for him in the summer of 2019.
Jovic admitted that he had other big offers on the table in January, but that he was following his heart.
"Eintracht is a special club for me," he said.
"At that time I had offers from clubs that were in a better position, glorious teams, but I thought Eintracht had what I needed."

Used to be a fan of him but when a player starts making a mockery of our badge thats it he loses my respect and support, otherwise he needs to change his attitude, work hard like the rest of squad members, show us your worth because Real Madrid is not a kindergarten like Arsenal and Zidane is not your babysitter. We want every player putting in their work and firing on all cylinders as we fight on all fronts in Champions League and Laliga!
