Karim Benzema arrived at Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 and, at the same time, Cristiano Ronaldo touched down in the Spanish capital.
Last summer though, the Portuguese decided to leave, departing as the club's most prolific scorer with 451 goals. Benzema, to his credit, has 219 himself in that time, but many still believe the Frenchman needs help in attack.
Past partners
Since 2009, Benzema has had a number of accomplices leading the line. Raul Gonzalez, Gonzalo Higuain, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Emmanuel Adebayor, Alvaro Morata, Jese, Joselu, Gareth Bale, Javier Hernandez, Borja Mayoral and Mariano Diaz have spent time by his side.
Despite the teammates being plentiful, none found continuity in the starting XI.
Looking to Paris
A bad season at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu has left Madrid looking around for another No.9, and Luka Jovic is the undoubted No.1 candidate.
But those at the club are happy to wait until the end of the season before making a decision and there is still hope that Los Blancos could make a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar.
A goalscorer
As MARCA has been explaining, Jovic is the most likely arrival. Eintracht Frankfurt will complete his permanent signing this summer, and Madrid boast a good relationship with the German side.
Neymar, though, remains the preferred option, but isn't the easiest to pull off.
Eden Hazard and Rodrygo will arrive to join Benzema, Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior in attack, while Mariano will be moved on again.
Rodrygo and Vinicius
The Brazilians deserve their own chapter, and they will plan to be important first team players from the first kick of a ball next season.
Both have confidence and they believe they can offer a lot to the side.
A future star
Vinicius' expectations are huge, and the club believe they have a player who will go on to be one of their best ever. The trust in him is at a maximum, and they're waiting for him to complete his return from injury.
There's a place in the starting XI with his name on it, and the club are backing him to become a star next season.
Zinedine Zidane's two teams
The coach's aim is to have a squad similar to that of 2016/17, when he conquered Europe and LaLiga Santander.
To do this, he needs depth that will allow him to rotate if and when he sees fit.

these four players can be afforded with 500 million easily and the team is strong in all the three parts of team.and with de gea in front of the net and the two CB its a strong defense and opponents need to be very tactfull in order to score a goal and with the finishing ability of jovic and passes from hazard and vinicious its like a very strong offensive line up and hazard also has a great finishing ability so the opponents defense will have night mares to face the team .in the midfield with the intro of pogba combining his playmaking abilities with kroos they can create a lot of chances in the match
