The very harsh challenge from Englishman Jude Bellingham on Argentine forward Angel Correa in the final stages of the Madrid derby last Sunday has led to an injury for the Argentine Atletico forward.
The Rojiblancos have confirmed that Correa suffered a grade I sprain of the medial collateral ligament of the knee. The player will do individual work in Tuesday's training session.
The Argentine international underwent an MRI this morning which confirmed that he suffered the knee sprain.
In the final stages of Sunday's match, already at 3-1 down and with everything decided, Bellingham made a very tough tackle that led to a lot of Atletico anger.
