Hamza Rafia scored the Coppa Italia winner against Genoa, but Juventus announce he sustained a knee ligament injury in the process.
The player was upgraded to the senior squad from the Under-23 team, which plays its league football in Serie C, and made a stunning debut last night.
Rafia came off the bench to score in a 3-2 extra time victory over Genoa, booking their place in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.
However, a statement this evening confirms Rafia has been diagnosed with a low-grade tear to the collateral medial ligament in his right knee.
He is expected to be out of action for circa 15-20 days.
His Under-23 Juventus teammate Franco Israel is also on the treatment table after fracturing his cheekbone.
