Saturday night seemed to be going so well for Barcelona's January signing Kevin-Prince Boateng as he made a rare LaLiga Santander start, but he returned home after the match against Real Valladolid to find he his house been robbed.
His home, in the northern part of the Sarria district, was targeted by thieves who took jewellery and money worth between 300,000 and 400,000 euros.
The local police, Mossos, will now lead a full investigation as reported by both Mundo Deportivo and El Pais, with MARCA having since confirmed the news.
It is not the first such case this season either, given that Jordi Alba's home was targeted by criminals as he faced Inter in Milan.

I always taught that Prince was a great player. Now being that he is a bit older I can see that Barca has made the right decision in buying him . No top rated sticker will come and eat the bench . He knows his place and is willing to come and help when needed . it takes a lot of self control, discipline and maturity to go to a huge club and know that that is what us expected of him. He will get better. He will deliver . He is barely getting to know the team and system.
