Shinji Kagawa continues to work hard in Zaragoza as he waits for his future to be resolved. He has received several offers, but has yet to make up his mind since his priority has been to continue playing in Spain after a good season at Real Zaragoza in 2019/20.
In fact, there are several Spanish clubs who have entered into talks with the Japanese midfielder, but none of them have managed to convince him with the offers they placed on the table.
Kagawa, whose contract with Real Zaragoza was terminated on October 2, continues to train in Spain under the orders of a personal trainer. In his home, he has a gym where he works out to keep fit while he also goes to his former team's training ground to work individually.
In principle, Kagawa does not plan to delay his decision for much longer and it is possible that he will make up his mind this week. Several of teams interested in signing him are currently playing in European competitions.
That's something attractive for the former Manchester United midfielder, who has exhausted all possibilities to stay in Spain. His non-EU status is the biggest obstacles for teams who may have been interested in acquiring his services, Sabadell being one of the clubs that tried to sign him and failed.
Kagawa had another year left in his contract, but Real Zaragoza made clear that the decision to part ways with the Japanese was due to sporting and not financial reasons, as they preferred to give non-EU spots to Toro Fernandez and Rai Nascimento.
