With the international break over and club football returning, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have tried a new technique to ensure their players go the extra mile.
On Wednesday, Bayern gave their players new Audi company cars and on Thursday, Real did the same but with BMW.
Both European giants have partnerships with their respective brands and have rewarded their players vehicles of their choosing from the options available to them.
England stars Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid) benefitted from this treat as a result.
Kane who was not present to collect his in person in Bavaria chose the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e - which is currently valued from £86,745 on the manufacturer's official website.
It has acceleration of 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds and an electric range of 51m3.
Kane was one of 12 Bayern players to choose that car, including the likes of Luis Diaz, Serge Gnabry and Manuel Neuer.
Bayern will hope their players can keep putting their foot down when they return to Bundesliga action in Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund.
Audi used to sponsor Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants have been with rival German manufacturers BMW for several seasons now.
Among the plethora of options available to him, Bellingham chose the BMW XM model which costs from £112,820 on BMW's official website.
Its acceleration is quicker than Kane's car with it going 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds.
Meanwhile, Alexander-Arnold opted for the IX model which is priced from £75,405 and does 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds.
The defender is currently recovering from a hamstring injury but will be cheering on Bellingham and Co when Real travel to Getafe on Sunday night for a Madrid derby in LaLiga.

It’s a total disgrace, if they had any pride they should donate it to a charity. Greedy gets.
Some do but at the end of the day it’s only a selective charity The world is a cruel place and no one is coming to save you, all man for himself
