Khedira: I really hope Goretzka can play for Atletico Madrid

Goretzka is expected to be one of the most watched transfer targets this summer, with Juventus, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, and Atletico Madrid all expressing interest in signing him. Khedira, in an interview with SPORT1, advised Goretzka to accept Atletico Madrid's offer.

Khedira stated, “Goretzka is outstanding. He demonstrates strength and maturity, along with exceptional mental fortitude and a clear mind. He remains consistently quiet in public, and as far as we know, he trains extremely hard. He is highly respected in the locker room, emotionally stable, and full of confidence in his abilities. He's like a machine, and I have immense respect for Goretzka.”

“I really wish he could play for Atlético Madrid. The Metropolitan Stadium is a dream stadium, and Atlético Madrid is a top team. His personality alone would be a perfect fit. Madrid is a fantastic city, and life there is very comfortable,” Khedira added.
