Koke is eager to get back onto the field but insists that should only happen once the health of all involved is guaranteed.
Talk of LaLiga Santander returning is gathering speed yet the Atletico Madrid captain is cautious.
"We want to return to normality, but everything depends on health," Koke told TVE.
"The main thing is in regards to collective training and doing things well so that there are no infections.
"We have to clean ourselves well, we still don't know anything about masks or gloves [but] of course I am optimistic."
When football eventually does resume, matches will initially be played without supporters, something Koke is not so keen on.
"Football without fans is very strange. I'm not used to the idea. Health comes first, and we will have to play behind closed doors to return to normality.
"We are going to lose contact with the ball," Koke said.
"At a tactical level, we are fixing things with the coach.
"He holds individual and collective meetings o correct game situations."

There are days and there are days. All the same, such is life, I see football with fans very very soon.

Without the fans the momentum is dead. The entire stadium is way too silent yet we cannot risk it. Having a test done every game and halftime will soon become nauseating and problematic.
