Kroos' Olympic goal: Genius from the German or a goalkeeping error?

Toni Kroos opened the scoring in Real Madrid's game against Valencia in the Supercopa de Espana with a goal netted directly from a corner kick.

The German took the kick while Jaume Domenech was lining up Los Che's defence.

Kroos unleashed his effort rapidly and the Valencia goalkeeper didn't manage to react as quickly, failing to keep the ball out of his own net.

By the time he got a hand to it, the ball was already over the line and he could only punch it further into the net.

It was Real Madrid's first Olympic goal - a goal scored direct from a corner - since Davor Suker scored one in a league match against Merida on December 14, 1997.
