Rodrygo has won his first title with Real Madrid and he scored a brilliant penalty in the shootout to help his side get the job done against Atletico Madrid.
The Brazilian revealed afterwards that Toni Kroos played a role in Rodrygo's name appearing on the list of penalty takers.
"When they were deciding who should take one I waited a bit, as there were others with more experience," he said.
"Kroos said that I should take one.
"He insisted, saying 'Rodrygo, Rodrygo...'
"I train on penalties like that, even if it went a little higher than I usually hit them.
"This is one of my best days.
"I dreamed of this moment, of winning a title with Real Madrid."
