Kylian Mbappé played a starring role in Real Madrid’s late win over Valencia, not just by scoring the stoppage-time goal that made him Europe’s top scorer, but also for a tense exchange with the fourth official caught on DAZN cameras. He was also a target for the Mestalla crowd throughout the match.
Late in the first half, Mbappé was flagged for offside after receiving a ball following a Valencia clearance. Confused by the call, he approached the fourth official at halftime for an explanation. “How can that be offside? I’m asking for an explanation,” Mbappé said. The official responded, “On camera it’s tight, sorry, talk about it inside.” The forward agreed: “Okay, we’ll go inside and you explain, because I don’t get it.”
Mbappé insults... and insulted
Once in the tunnel, Mbappé pressed the official again. “You told me to talk inside and you’re not looking at me… honestly. You told me to talk inside, and now I’m here and you won’t speak.” Frustrated at being ignored, he turned to teammate Eduardo Camavinga and muttered in French, “They’s such clowns, the referees.”
The match wasn’t short on tension elsewhere. Valencia’s supporters directed insults at the French forward from the stands, chanting, “Mbappé, son of a bitch!.” The striker ignored the taunts, focusing solely on his performance on the pitch.

Valencia fans always knew they will lose so they insult even when they couldn't get hold of Vinicius😂. How can you be calling Kylian son of a clown 🤣
