La Liga clubs mourn passing of Tenerife forward Jesús de Miguel

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Espanyol, Villarreal, Valencia, Real Betis, and several other La Liga clubs have issued official statements expressing deep sorrow at the tragic news of the death of Tenerife player Jesús de Miguel.

Barcelona said in a statement: "From FC Barcelona, we deeply regret the tragic news of the passing of Jesús de Miguel, CD Tenerife player. Our thoughts and support are with his family, friends and loved ones during these difficult times."

Real Madrid said in a statement: "Real Madrid wishes to express its condolences and affection to his family, his teammates, his club, and all his loved ones."

Atletico Madrid said in a statement: "Atletico Madrid mourns the death of Jesús de Miguel. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all those who were close to him and supported him. May he rest in peace."

Sevilla, Espanyol, Villarreal, Valencia, Real Betis, and several other La Liga clubs also issued statements, wishing Jesús de Miguel rest in peace.
